Dad's 60th birthday party and 40th anniversary luau

The weather here in the Northwest has been amazing this September. We have been above 70 degrees with clear skies for over 2 weeks now and just yesterday we were in the 90's. It seems as though summer in the NW is now July, August and September! The leaves are trying to turn into their fall colors...I think they're all a bit confused...I love this time of year when flowers are still in bloom and trees are turning red, orange and yellow...in the next 30 days or so everything will be so gorgeous...then the leaves will fall and it will just be a big mess!

We spent time with my side of the family this weekend in West Linn, Oregon. My Dad celebrated his 60th birthday and my parent's celebrated their 40th Anniversary. Everyone came in their luau gear- fun times were had by all. The kids enjoy spending time with their cousins and are always sad to leave. Congrats Mom and Dad!
