Well another summer has come and gone and although we didn't do any large extravagant trip this year we did get to do a mini-getaway and a quick trip to Vegas! The kids both had fantastic birthdays and it's hard to believe but Malakai just started 2nd grade and Maliyah will go to pre-school this week! Yikes! Guess "they" weren't joking when they said it will go so fast!
Maliyah got her first modeling gig with "Babylegs." This is a local company that sells children's leg warmers, socks, and tights all over the world! She is currently featured on their Labor Day Ad sent out to thousands via email! Yahooooooo! Go Mimi! She is also on the babylegs website modeling two warmers...one pair called Flower Mill in the Adventureland Girl group and the other Black Cat in Costumes.
Kai will be starting Hip Hop classes this week and indoor soccer again at the end of the month. Maliyah is enrolled in swimming classes and gymnastics...
I just got offered yet another zumba class at the YMCA and now teach 3 classer/week. I am also teaching swimming lessons to toddlers and young children ages 3-5 (and loving it). I have now assisted an old friend of mine in three weddings helping her curl and set hair to beautify bridal parties! Oh, it's such fun! I'm even thinking of going to beauty school in the next couple of years! I haven't had a chance to stage any properties lately as Terry took a break from listing properties...hoping to get a chance to do another stage in the near future...but I think I have enough on my plate for the time-being!
