Flag Football

Ready for some Football...mouthpiece and all!
"Down, Set, Hike! Uh, Maliyah, you're not supose to sit on the ball baby."

Malakai played in his first flag football game yesterday and Maliyah enjoyed doing her "Monkey Jumps and Donkey kicks" on the sidelines!

More Spring Break...

I think Kai has had a really good break. We've been to Jump Planet, two parks, Chuck E Cheese, Little Gym, Swimming, Lunch with Daddy, the mall playground, pictures with the Easter bunny and tomorrow they're off to Tot Spot Cafe!

Today we went to see the Easter Bunny...the kids were so happy!
We are so blessed that they get along so well...for now anyway.

My little princess playing at the park...it was a beautiful day.

Remember to pause the music at the bottom of my blog in the green box. It is just NOT the same if you cannot hear this video clip.

SPRING BREAK DAY 1...

First day of Spring break. We began the day by heading to Starbuck for Mommy's morning coffee and then off to Jump Planet for what I knew would be tons of fun and at least begin to tire-out the kids a little. At 11am the session was over and time for Mommy to run errands...I had been driving with expired tags for 3 months. We made a quick stop at home for a blanket and the store for some rocket balloons. Then we headed to the park for some fun in the sun with our balloons. The kids had to get their swing-rides in and then we were off to the house for a little "down time." However, with Malakai home Maliyah just doesn't want to nap. So, the kids hung-out while Mommy caught -up on some housework. When Daddy got home in the evening it was off to the "Y" for some more playtime. It's now 9:30pm and the kids are STILL playing in the playroom! ENERGIZER BUNNIES!

For those of you that haven't heard I was just offered a job as a swim instructor for the baby-toddler classes at the local YMCA. I'm very excited as it is just fun to play with the little kiddos and the benefits of working at the "Y" are incredible! I am "shadowing" this month and begin my own classes next month.

I just finished a project in our Formal Living room, no more red. Instead I used two-different browns- one dark and below the chair rail and lighter brown on top. I did one small accent wall in "Terra cotta orange." I REALLY love it! I want to grab a blanket and hot chocolate and curl-up in my living room now! Hope everyone is enjoying the weather! Happy Spring!
