Malakai is a STAR...AGAIN!

Photo from small circle on front of box...this is the actual photo from the back of the box.
Here he is at "Toys R Us" standing in front of his Dr. Seuss gamebox and holding the Richard Scarry gamebox.

Front of the second gamebox.

So the second gamebox that Malakai could have potencially made it onto the box came out...and guess what??? HE IS ON IT! We are so excited that after editing Malakai made BOTH the game boxes! All the other kids on both boxes are different kids...he is the only one that made both! YAY Malakai! Now if only we lived in L.A...where this BIG jobs are! It's much more difficult to spot him on this gamebox...but if you look in the upper-left corner you'll see a white circle with kids playing the game on the interior...Malakai is the one in the center. The game is not out on shelves yet so I'm wishful that he might also be on the back of the box like on the Dr. Seuss game:) You can see him at http://www.icandothatgames.com/busytown/. Scroll to the bottom of the website page and you'll see him in the photo enlarged.

Seattle Center

Daddy and Maliyah in the Butterfly Museum at the Pacific Science Center, Seattle.
Malakai wanted to kiss his baby sister for this shot:)

Beautiful butterflies!

Me and "Boo-boo" at the PSC in Seattle...love the Space Needle as the backdrop!

On Sunday, August 30th, we took the kids to the Seattle Center. We visit this family fun place often and several times this summer. Malakai discovered lazer tag and has a blast playing it with Daddy! We saw "Animalopolis" at the IMAX...it was super cute! The kids went on a few rides and we visited the Pacific Science Center and the Butterfly Museum...we spent 4 hours bummin' around! It was a lot of fun!

Eight Portland Spots for Eight Years of Marriage!

"UP FRONT FX" the club where we first met back in 1996! The weekend before our 8th anniversary we dropped the kids off with Gma and Pa and went into Portland for some much needed alone time! We visited 8 Portland spots where we had some great memories from when we first started dating 13 years ago! It was so cool to see those places and even to see how they've changed! We spent time in Portland's new swanky "Pearl District," and we went on the "Spirit" dinner cruise Saturday night. There was also a "ghost-tour" we went on when we first arrived on Friday...it was a great weekend!

The "Brasserie Montemartre" - this is where we went on our very FIRST date!

Pacific University, the school Terry was attending when we met. We have a few memories here.

The Oregon City overlook. Terry and I use to come here and he would serenade me:)

"The Mark Spencer Hotel" - This is where Terry and I both worked one summer in college.

Portland's Saturday Market- this was a spot that we loved to visit on occasion.

No, I'm not pole-dancing here but you get the idea...this was one of our favorite dance clubs...BALZERS! It is now 1/2 sandwich shop and 1/2 coffee shop.

Can't figure-out how to turn this the right way, this use to be another club, The Metropolis, we loved that place. Anyhow, it's now a "Sleep Country."
