Last weekend Malakai's best buddy had a birthday party on Saturday and since we were already driving 1/2 hour South we decided to make a night of it by stopping at a campsite on the way home. We figured we'd try it for one night (baby steps) to see how the kids would do...and, of course, they loved it! I'm sure this will be one of our new family traditions!

Hey love. Ya'll have been busy bodies! How is Maliyah doing in ballet? Isn't Malakai's birthday soon? What do you have planned for the big guy? What is left on the agenda for the James Family summer? Remember, our door is always open. We would love to have you over at our neck of the woods. Of course, when there aren't any fires. The sky is filled with smoke right now due to a fire not too far from our home. Uuuuggghhh! Love you guys!!
looks like you guys had a great time! what a great spot right by the river! we've always been campers, and I have to say some of our best family memories are from camping! looks like you guys are having a great summer! This week is going to be hot hot hot...hope you have a place to cool down!
