It was the second to the last game of Malakai's first season of basketball...he woke-up so excited to play today he went straight to his room to put on his b-ball gear. It was 7am, game time? 10am. He ate breakfast and kept asking when his game was...he must have known that today would be his day!
All season long Malakai has shown improvement in understanding the game...but he had continued to struggle getting the ball all the way up to the basket...afterall, he is the smallest peanut out there! Terry finally put together an indoor hoop that I had gotten them for Christmas and Malakai LOVES shooting baskets on it. He can play side by side with me or daddy and the game keeps track of your hoops and is on a timer. Just like a game you might see at Chuck E Cheese or Bullwinkles. Anyhow...the practice paid off and Kai made NOT one, but TWO baskets in his game today...GAME MVP!!! Woop, woop!
